Training Specialist II

Prepares and/or conducts training programs; teaches classes; holds seminars and discussion groups; distributes educational literature; tests and evaluates progress of employees.Ensure a safe and quality working environment through training, awareness, and compliance to safety guidelines and SOP’s.Ensure the maintenance of their department, premises and equipment.Other duties as assigned with or without accommodation.Requirements: BA or BS degree in Education, Instructional Design, Training Development or biological or chemical sciences preferredMinimum of 5 years experience in a GMP manufacturing environment providing direction for compliance based trainingKnowledge of validation of microbiological methods Experience in managing training projects including timelines, resources, and deliverablesExperience with the design of training using various training media including CBT (computer-based training) preferredExperience with various training tracking metrics, identification, use, interpretation, trends and presentationExperience with electronic Learning Management Systems preferredExperience with instructional design and assessment configuration preferredHigh degree of organization and flexibility with the ability to prioritize responsibilities as needs require An understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and its unique business and social responsibilitiesExcellent technical and compliance-based writing skillsAbility to work with clients of diverse incumbent skill baseExcellent communications skills, both written and oralExcellent meeting facilitation skillsTechnical and Compliance-based SkillsA thorough understanding of the requirements outlined in CFR Part 211 cGMP's for Finished Pharmaceuticals and their practical application during manufacture, testing, and distribution.
