Test Engineer for Second Shift Requisition Number: 63072Position Description This position will provide technical support for the development and implementation of test systems and software used in the manufacturing of defibrillator products and accessories. Position Responsibilities Providing Product Line Support (PLS) functions, including yield improvement, process optimization, failure analysis, training, and troubleshooting Participation in test system design activities, including test specification development and maintenance, and test hardware and software design and implementation Integration, verification, and acceptance of test systems Support of Lifecycle engineering teams for continuous improvement of product operation and performance Perform other duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications BS in Electrical Engineering or other related discipline or equivalent experience 2 years of experience in test engineering or product development, preferably in medical products Desired/Preferred Qualifications Experience in developing manufacturing test specifications, including interface requirements, test flow and strategy, measurement accuracy, and acceptance criteria Experience in development of test software for a manufacturing environment, using test development tools and languages including LabWindows Cvi? and LabView? Experience in validation of test systems, including validation plans, protocols, and reports Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to work in cross-functional teams Experience in Product Lifecycle Support and interaction with product component suppliers Experience developing new product test strategies BSEE with 1+ years of test engineering experience Experience with medical product verification, qualification, and validation requirements Familiarity with FMECA processes Medical device manufacturing experience Physical Job Requirements Normal  To Apply: Click Apply Now to route your resume directly to the hiring department.
