Test Development Engineer

Test Development Engineer

Primary Purpose :
The ideal candidate will be responsible for design and develop test processes and equipment in support of New Products Introduction and the production testing of ZOLL Medical products. Includes: test hardware and software design, assembly, debug, documentation development and release of test equipment for use both at ZOLL Medical locations and at key supplier sites. Test equipment and test process support, on an as required basis, to ensure the needs of ZOLL production operations are attained. May provide work direction to technicians or other production test/assembly personnel on assigned projects but no direct reports.

Competencies :
To qualify for this position the candidate must have a minimum of a Bachelors Degree, BSEE preferred in addition to:

Minimum of 1 year experience in a production test and an electro-mechanical assembly environment including ICT, Functional Test and Reliability Test (HALT, HASS) development. Working Knowledge of analog, digital and high voltage circuit design. Project management experience demonstrating the ability to meet schedule and cost targets. Direct experience in the development of production test fixtures. Proficient in test software development, preferably with LabView and TestStand. Proficient in most common PC based applications (Word, Excel, etc.) Experience with FDA QSR documentation requirements a plus.
