Currently, we have a great opportunity for a highly motivated, customer service oriented, sales professional to join our team.
Specifically, you will:
• Promote Amylin products to physicians, pharmacy, Certified Diabetes Educators, managed care organizations, other health care providers and influencers of healthcare providers
• Attain sales goals within geographic territory and maintain expense budgets as set by management
• Provide market information to fellow representatives, managers and to Amylin corporate staff to help shape strategy and policy decisions
• Deliver clinically accurate presentations of Amylin products to designated physician audiences in accordance with the prescribed call cycle
• Work to influence prescribing habits of physicians and other prescribers and influencers of prescribing activity regarding the use of Amylin products
• Remain in compliance with PDMA regulations
This position requires:
• A BA/BS
• At least 2 years of sales experience within the pharmaceutical or bio-pharmaceutical industry
• PC proficiency with MS Office, spreadsheet software, and Contact software
• A valid Driver’s License
• The ability to travel up to 100% of the time
• Experience with diabetes preferred.
