Technical IT Lead - Consumer Supply Chain Distribution - (Job Number: 0806488) DescriptionJohnson && Johnson Consumer Products Co., a member of Johnson && Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting for a Technical IT Lead located in Skillman, NJ. The Technical Lead will manage the implementation and ongoing support of a Warehouse Management System and associated systems across our distribution network. The Technical Lead will focus on warehouse operations and use of software, delivery of key business results expected from warehouse process re-engineering and optimization, integration development and support. The incumbent will lead value-creation and value-monitoring activities associated with continuous improvement. The Technical Lead must be familiar with all phases of project development. The incumbent will meet with key business partners to identify current and future needs and participate in planning discussions. The Technical Lead will schedule and manage project activities, risks, resources and communication. The Technical Lead will communicate technical information in a logical, concise and complete manner as well as gather user requirements and evaluate possible technical and process solutions. Other responsibilities will include the following: Gain user acceptance and commitment to proceed with the recommendation; Ensure customer expectations are met with respect to time, cost and improved efficiency and business value; Partner with client community to devise or modify procedures to solve complex problems or improve existing processes and track and communicate metrics to monitor plan progress. The Technical Lead will interface with suppliers and vendors as needed to evaluate software, hardware, or services and make recommendations. The incumbent will manage internal J&&J and external (software vendor, integration vendors, etc.) relationships, and resources, as appropriate. A minimum of 6 years of Information Technology and/or related experience is required. A bachelor's degree and 4 years of Information Technology and/or related industry experience is preferred. Project Management and/or Project Lead experience is required. Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle Process is required. Knowledge of Supply Chain Systems is preferred. Experience with Warehouse Management Systems is preferred. Vendor Management experience is preferred. Experience working in a cross-functional team environment is preferred. Knowledge of Computer Systems Validation is preferred. Experience with the following technologies is preferred: Client Server, Web Development, SAP, Relational Databases, Unix and GxP requirements, Red Prairie and Navis. Approximately 10% of domestic travel is required for this position.
