We assess our client's current technology needs and assist with systems design and implementation to improve both enterprise-wide integration and profitability.  Through our long-term partnerships with many of the world's leading technology companies we can offer extremely cost effective implementation to our clients.  Deloitte Consulting's Technology Integration (TI) offerings include:    Business Integration & Optimization Deloitte Consulting's Business Integration & Optimization (BIO) practice designs, develops, tests, and implements complex event processing solutions that unlock the value of enterprise information.  These solutions include middleware-enabled business process, applications, and system component integration within and across enterprises.  Additionally, BIO focuses on assisting clients in developing the people, processes and architectures required to achieve and sustain Integration Excellence.   Retail Deloitte Consulting is a leading provider of professional services to retail, wholesale and distribution companies across the U.S.  Clients include department stores, mass retailers, grocery, specialty and luxury retailers and their businesses cut across all the retail channels including stores, internet, and catalog.     A Manager at Deloitte will manage and deliver components of client engagements that identify, design, and implement technology and creative business solutions for large companies. Responsible for developing, maintaining and growing senior client relationships and leading consultant and client project teams from project planning through execution. Integration Managers are required to have: - 6+ years of relevant industry or consulting experience. - 2+ years of experience Experience participating in large-scale, full-life cycle Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) implementations. This effort can be within a management consulting or industry environment. - Experience in managing at least one large Business Integration effort and project team through all phases of the project lifecycle from scoping and planning, requirements gathering, design, development, testing, - Must have hands-on technical experience with at least one the following tools: Sterling Commerce, IBM WebSphere, Yantra, Comergent, MQ Series, SeeBeyond, Tibco, Vitria, WebMethods. - Willingness to travel to client locations (80%). - Bachelor's Degree or 4 years equivalent professional experience.   In addition, successful Managers will also have the following preferred skills: - A strong Java, EJB, BPEL, UNIX background - Experience with Business Process Modeling (BPM) tools, Business rules integration - Experience with Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) technology like BEA, Sonic, IBM, Oracle - Strong knowledge and comprehension standards, specifications, standards bodies (e.g., XML, UDDI, JMS, Web services, etc.) - The ability to manage small engagements and teams or parts of large engagements - Strong methodology understanding, and have assisted in the design, development or testing of a technology integration project - Strong analytical and technical skills - Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment - The ability to work both independently and as part of team - A Willingness to mentor junior staff in technical areas - An advanced degree in the area of specialization is preferred.
