Systems Analyst IV

This position will be primarily responsible for implementation and administration of multiple storage platforms, data archiving devices, and fiber channel switches. This position will work with various development and operational teams as well as vendors, to ensure systems are implemented, improved or repaired in a timely manner. To be successful in this role a candidate must have 8 -10 years experience of System Administration; 5+ years of SAN Administration ; 3+ years experience with Active Directory; 5+ years working in large enterprise environments with multiple platforms and operating systems.Business/Management Skills:- Technical Documentation- Project Management - can run a large project requiring a work plan and delegation skills- Able to develop, document, and enforce policies and procedures- Able to build relations with Business Partners on their issues and business needs- Excellent communications and organizational skills as well as work well as part of a team- Able to make a presentation to a project team- Can work on multiple projects concurrently Business/Technical Skills:- Experience planning and testing Disaster Recovery - Can identify and resolve server and storage related problems- Able to interact effectively with other IS groups- Able to interact effectively with vendors for procurement and support- Understanding of what technology is available and how it can assist the Business Partners- Can work toward the resolution of a production problem with the necessary priority- Able to present ideas cogently to IS managementRequirements: Education:- BS or equivalent experience in Computer Science or IS.
