Job Description Strategic Pricing Manager We are seeking someone to join our team to establish pricing standards, manage pricing analyses, track price performance, build organizational capabilities, and communicate key pricing insights and recommendations to senior leadership and other relevant stakeholders in support of the business’ overall revenue and operating income goals. The pricing function provides the materials necessary to inform all pricing decisions and proactively identifies new pricing improvement opportunities, both tactical and strategic. Position Highlights: - Responsible for sales reporting and analysis with an emphasis in customer relationship analysis and reporting.- 4 Major Functional Areas, working closely with Marketing, Sales, Business Analytics and Contracts Administration, to include: 1. Strategy Development and Planning to identify, validate and quantify new pricing improvement opportunities 2. CAPS (sales contracting system) Administration to represent Sales & Marketing on the CAPS committee and to provide support for the field sales organization3. Performance Reporting working closely with Business Analytics to produce regular reporting of pricing performance4. Training to develop and conduct training on pricing strategy and processes Skills, Education and Experience Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, mathematics or a scientific field. Advanced degree in business or science is a plus, although an equivalent combination of professional experience and education is acceptable.- Strong intellect, drive, analytical, and verbal and written communication skills are expected.- Minimum 3 years experience some in a leadership capacity. - Strong commercial orientation with a balance of pricing and strategic business management capabilities.- In-depth experience with financial modeling and problem solving skills including data handling and relational database programming skills.- Strong project management skills.- Leader capable of multi-tasking, prioritizing and operating with a sense of urgency.Education: BachelorsJob Level: Experienced
