Job Description:

 

Statistical and genetic analyses of clinical studies and pharmacogenetic studies. 

 

Specific Responsibilities include:

  SAS Programming in all phases of: Clinical trials Pharmacogenomic studies Biologics and medical devices Data extraction/entry according to FDA guidelines.

  Strong knowledge of: Genetic analyses concepts Candidate gene and genome wide analyses Logistic regression General linear models Mixed models Clinical trial design Power and sample size analyses Adaptive designs

  Other responsibilities include: Experience in interpretation and reporting of statistical results including executive summaries to clients Communication with clinical investigators of research objectives, defining hypothesis and findings Knowledge of genetic and epidemiological principles surrounding candidate gene and GWAS. Periodic travel as required.

 

Minimum requirements:

  Ph.D. in statistics, statistical genetics or genetic epidemiology. Must exhibit team player capabilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. US citizen or eligible to work in the US. Must read, write and speak fluent English.
