To assist us with the growth of our vision care business, we are seeking a Staff Engineer, Design Excellence to Lead New Product/Process Technology Transfer development from R&&D and the identification of selected external manufacturers through product development and transfer to full-scale commercial production manufacturing sites. Complete project deliverables and work with cross-functional teams between R&&D, Operations Site and suppliers. A BS/ BA degree in Statistics/Engineering and 9 years of Advanced Technical Training in DOE, Statistics/Engineering or an MS/MA degree in Statistics/Engineering and 7 years experience of demonstrated leadership in New Product/Process Technology Transfer from R&&D to commercial manufacturing sites to include external manufacturers is required. In depth understanding of Validation/Qualification with an emphasis on Aseptic processing and Quality Systems for medical device and pharmaceutical products is required. An emphasis on sound business acumen, with proven expertise in problem solving and producing measurable results are preferred. Chemical Engineering, Process/Quality Engineering in Pharmaceutical Industry with External Manufacturing Technology Transfer Leadership is preferred. Strong leadership and coaching skills are required. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills are required. Demonstrated management experience is preferred. Understanding current GMP/ISO regulations and validation/qualification principles are preferred. Pharmaceutical and Medical-Device experience is preferred. Experience in Six-Sigma is preferred. A certification in DEX, Green Belt, Black Belt and Master Black Belt are preferred. Process engineering experience is preferred. New Product Development and Introduction experience is preferred. Statistical methods and process control experience is preferred.
