Sr Systems Analyst

This position resides within the ERP group, which is a part of Information Technology. The ERP group implements, maintains and supports the global SAP application for the Vaccines and Diagnostics division of Novartis across sites in US, Europe and Asia. The position is located in Emeryville, California and reports to the ERP Technology Manager Individual will be responsible for managing outsourced security resources to deliver SAP security services. Other responsibilities include supporting the area of SAP Security by updating existing hierarchies and security information including user authorizations, assigning and resetting passwords and preparing policies and procedures as necessary. May take on project management responsibilities for small projects or will participate as member of a larger team Must participate in mandatory compliance training (in support of FDA requirements) and will adhere to any software validation testing and documentation requirements. Extensive experience with SAP Security (3 to 5 years preferred) Experience with Compliance Calibrator BA/BS degree or equivalent Individual should be highly organized and detail oriented. Must be able to work under deadline pressure and have a proven track record of meeting deadlines. Individual should be self-directed and work under minimal supervision. Must have proven ability to excel in a team environment. Should have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Should possess the ability to quickly learn new skills and manage multiple priorities. Competency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project and Access). Other technical skills are a plus, such as database structures, HTML and others. Enthusiastic team player with a real desire for personal and company growth.
