Responsibilities include manufacturing data trending, participating in process validation, providing on-floor technical support, closing investigations and process understanding by process mapping. Additional activities include the execution of experiments to identify process improvements, e.g. cell bank preparation, medium, seed train and bioreactor process development and optimization. A basic understanding of cell culture or fermentation biology is essential. Hands-on experience with aseptic technique, cell culture and bioreactor operations are a plus. The incumbent will work with team members to execute and interpret experiments relevant to process monitoring and improvement initiatives.QualificationsThe ideal candidate will preferably have industrial experience in mammalian cell culture or microbial fermentation and sound chemical, mathematical and biological training. You must have the ability to work in teams, communicate clearly and be independently motivated. Additionally, scientific independent thinking and the ability to design experiments are critical. Biology, Biochemistry, Chemical or Biochemical Engineering or related fields, B.Sc. with 4-6 years of relevant experience, M.
