Position Description:We are currently seeking a Senior Process Development Engineer.JOB PURPOSE: Provide Engineering support and project management skills for Sterilization Engineering, including Development and Qualifications of sterilization processes and other assigned engineering projects. Provide Engineering support in selection of Sterilization equipment and ancillary systems. Manage and coordinate installation and validation activities for the new equipment. Research and develop and prepare specifications for improvements to existing or new sterilization processes or equipment.Support sterilization projects by contributing to the development of project schedules, teams, tracking costs, preparing status reports, conducting meetings and communicating issues and progress to management.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Provide engineering support for the sterilization process development.Compile, review and evaluate relevant engineering data and write/present effective technical reports.Provide effective project management to manage, execute and successfully complete assigned projects.Provide leadership and guidance to subordinates within the Engineering Organization.Supervise daily activities of all levels of Engineering Technicians.Moderate degree of both internal and external personnel interfaces.Communicate both verbally and written, project activities to supervisor/project manager.Prepare RCI’s including project description, schedule and costs under the direction of supervisor.Supervise and direct contract personnel and outside vendors in the performance of contracted services.Lead/Conduct investigations to resolve issues related to the sterilization process and equipments as and when required.QUALIFICATIONS GUIDELINES:To qualify for this position, candidates must possess/or meet the following requirements:BS degree in Engineering, with minimum of 5 years engineering experience.Knowledge/Experience of cGMP.Knowledge/Experience of sterilization equipment & processes and understanding of process control is highly desirable.Ability to analyze, investigate and propose solutions to technical issues.Ability to work independently and within a team environment.Ability to write specifications and protocols for the development, testing and qualification of equipment, processes and products.Familiar with use of software packages such as project management, spreadsheets and word processors.Demonstrated troubleshooting skills in a related engineering area.Demonstrated project management skills to run small engineering projects.B.Braun offers an excellent benefits package, which includes healthcare, a 401(k) plan, company sponsored pension, and tuition reimbursement.
