Sr. Manager, Proof of Concept
Title: Sr. Manager, Proof of Concept We are in search of a high level candidate to take on the role of Sr. Manager, overseeing at least 2 scientists, for our MD client who develop, manufacture, and commercialize vaccines and therapeutics. This candidate will be responsible for the performance of direct-binding ELISA to test serum, inhibition ELISA for quantitative cross-reactivity, quantitative capture ELISA, IFNgamma ELISPOT, cell based bioassays and handling of chlamydia including quantitation of infectious burden. The candidate will also culture cells, analyze data using linear regression and 4-parameter logistic fit, assay development and validation. As a manager the candidate will also be responsible for ordering supplies and maintaining inventory. We are looking for a candidate with at least 10 years of experience who have knowledge and experience in laboratory management and inventory and supply management. Required skills include animal handling of mice, guinea pigs and rabbits, immunization techniques for each as well as experience obtaining sera. Must have knowledge and experience with ELISA development, ELISA performance and data analysis common to ELISA required.
