Sr InstallSheild and Build Engineer
This opening is located in Foster City, CAAs the leading supplier of life science technology and related applications, we are helping life scientists understand and use the power of biology to pursue new scientific discoveries and methods for diagnosing and treating disease. Major Responsibilities:Seeking a senior InstallSheild and Build Engineer to develop installers for our commercial software products. The engineer will work with product development teams to get installer requirements, work on design and unit test plans to get our commercial software products released to the customers as well as help manage our source control system and processes. The engineer will help us continue to automate our build process.
Skills: InstallShield (MSI, InstallScript MSI), Rpm based installers, ANT, Java. Work Experience The following work experience is required for this role: - InstallShield version 10 and above. - Build Automation using ANT, CruiseControl. - Experience with source control system (CVS, Subversion) - Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills - Good analytical and problem solving skills. Desired Education: BS in Computer Science or related engineering disciplines.
