The change, the excitement, the opportunity are infectious.As we continue to build on the success of our discovery research efforts, we seek a Senior Director-Comparative Medicine to lead the staff dedicated to maintaining a modern and efficient laboratory animal care program.The Senior Director-Comparative Medicine is a key member of our Discovery Research team at our Kenilworth, NJ research facility. As a member of this team, the Senior Director plays an integral role in the development of research protocols and animal model development, while keeping the Laboratory Animal Research (LAR) function compliant with company policy and procedure, Federal and National Institutes of Health laboratory and AAALAC International policies. The scope of responsibility includes all aspects of Animal Care Operations and Veterinary Services.QualificationsDVM/VMD degree, license to practice veterinary medicine in at least one state, ACLAM boarded along with a minimum of 15 years relevant management experience with a demonstrated record of success leading a laboratory animal medicine function..Schering-Plough is an equal opportunity employer.
