Sr Compensation Analyst

The Sr Compensation Analyst, Operations, will provide specialist compensation support for NVD's global business, working as part of a 6-person team. The successful candidate will enjoy an operations focused role with an emphasis on financial analysis. We are looking for candidates with a 'can-do attitude' and a bias for customer service. This position is located in Cambridge, MA. Responsibilities Models financial impact of compensation plans and programs Responsible for administration and troubleshooting of web-based compensation system Generates and audits compensation reports Conducts statistical analysis of compensation data using Excel and MS Access tools Provides pre and post salary review metrics; develop presentation materials for Senior Management Provides analysis relating to market movement, changes in pay approaches etc Develops/Maintains financial budgets and financial reporting related to US compensation and benefits US stock plan administration of ongoing grants and monthly process audits Analyzes market data and pay of current US employees Audits HRIS data and maintains US Job Table Ensures compliance with applicable US laws and regulations Qualifications Bachelors degree in mathematics, statistics, or business related field (such as accounting) required, MBA preferred. Advanced skills in Excel, Word, Power Point, Access and other reporting writing software required. Strong analytical skills, detail-oriented, organized and able to multi-task in a fast- paced environment. Ability to prepare/analyze statistical reports and summarize findings for management decision-making. Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment. Excellent oral and written communication skills required. Experience in HR or compensation preferred Some travel (approximately 10%) to site locations around the world including California, North Carolina, Latin America, Germany, Italy and UK.Novartis Vaccines & Diagnotics is a new division of Novartis consisting of two businesses focusing on the development of preventive treatments and tools.
