Brief Description of position:
As the Sr Business Systems Analyst you will be a part of the Business umbrella of Health Market Science. This role is critical to our success in supporting and improve the building of the MDM
In addition you will be helping to improve our process and address critical data issues
Reports to: Production Data Analyst Lead
Experience Required:Supporting and performing daily operational tasks associated in building our master file
o Loading data
o Analyzing the system performance
o Supporting data analysisIdentify problem areas either in the process or in the systemWorking with ERP systemsProviding possible fix solutions Provide level III supportManage problem reporting, diagnosis, analysis, correction, verification and on-going status reporting. As needed, monitor and test production application changes during the weekly change windowTrending and tracking the behavior of dataSetting thresholds to monitor variants in dataExperience in investigating and providing solutions to data/system processesProviding statistical reports
Technical Knowledge Required:SQLPL/SQLSystem analysisData analysisOracle Database (specifically setting up triggers)UNIXPerl – nice to have
Desired Skills:
· Experience in a software product company
· Experience with development on open source projects
· Experience with functional programming languages
· Experience with distributed software projects
