Software Engineer: develop cutting edge metrology tools

In this position you will have the opportunity to be part of a team developing cutting edge metrology tools in support of the ophthalmology industry. Our preference is that you already have some exposure to physics and optics, but if you don't, you will acquire it working with intriguing products.

You'll join a highly collaborative team that, like all of AMO, is helping to provide vision for life. The atmosphere in our Albuquerque R&D/production facility is fast-paced but friendly, and we boast a very low turnover rate in this location.

You will contribute to all aspects of the software development process, including collecting and documenting requirements, designing and implementing software, and testing and debugging.

To be a good fit for this opportunity you will have at least two years of experience in software engineering and proficiency with C++, C#, and SQL. We're looking for a professional with solid communication and interpersonal skills in order to interact effectively with customers. You also will need a demonstrated ability to be as productive both as a team member and independently.
