Signal Processing and Data Fusion Scientist
Signal Processing and Data Fusion Scientist / Engineer
The international leader in sensing technology is seeking a signal processing and data fusion scientist/engineer to join its growing team at their Boston, MA site.
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Supporting or leading research and development of signal processing and data fusion of similar or dissimilar sensor data.
- Providing test and evaluation support for research projects.
- Developing signal processing, analysis, and data fusion techniques for acoustic, seismic, passive infrared, and chemical sensor systems.
- Preparing written reports, presentation, and other support documents.
Salary Commensurate with Experience.

Required education:
- Must have a Bachelor of Science degree and ten years relevant work experience, Master of Science degree and 8 years relevant work experience or a Ph.D. with at least 4 years experience in Electrical, Chemical Engineering, Applied Physics, Geophysics or other related discipline.
Required skills:
Candidates with 2-5 years experience and the following skills are preferred:
• Strong background of using Matlab and C in computational methods, programming, data processing, visualization and modeling.
• Experience in chemometrics, bioinformatics, Neural Networks, Kalman Filter and ARMA modeling.
• Experience in probabilistic algorithms such as Bayesian, Dempster-Shafer’s method.
• Experience with military sensing application for DoD or DoE agencies.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Candidates must be a U.S. citizen or a permanent resident.
