Position Description:

As a Senior Web Designer, you will work as part of the Creative Services Team and take direction from the Creative Services Manager. You are a blend of web designer with strong graphics and user interface design experience and web developer with dynamic web content programming experience using Windows technologies (.NET, ASP). You are detail oriented, process-friendly, and have the ability to work within tight time-lines on multiple projects simultaneously. Responsibilities will include but will not be limited to;• Working with web content management systems• Daily update of the Illumina corporate web sites• Web form registration creation including SalesForce.com web-to-lead implementation• HTML e-mail campaign creation• Web graphic creation and editingRequired Skill Set• 7+ years experience developing web sites (on-line samples required)• Ability to hand-code HTML without use of WYSIWYG editor (test will be applied)• Expert knowledge of dynamic web content delivery with .NET and Active Server Page (ASP) technology• Expert knowledge of JavaScript principles• Expert knowledge of Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)• Thorough knowledge of data connection methods for dynamic web sites• Thorough knowledge of SQL-based queries for use in dynamic web sites• Thorough knowledge of IIS 6 web server management and configuration• Strong design sense for clean layout and navigation• Web graphics creation and optimization using Adobe CS3 Suite• Experience with Flash using ActionScript• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment• Ability to occasionally work under tight timelines• Collaborate and/or work with vendors/ agencies• MUST BE EXTREMELY ORGANIZIED AND DETAIL-ORIENTEDAdditional Skills• Experience implementing Web 2.0 technologies such as podcasts, vodcasts, online communities.
