Senior Verification Engineer - LipoSonix

Overview:

This position develops test plans, methods, procedures, and reports required to perform software and hardware verification. This person develops special test equipment and software programs, as required, to test software through white and black box methods.


Primary Responsibilities:
• Develops verification tests based on established requirements
• Writes test plans, protocols, and reports
• Coordinates testing
• Performs unit testing
• Participates and holds technical design reviews.


Responsibilities: • Strong experience developing automated software tests and written protocols
• Creative in test approaches
• Experience in hardware verification: environmental and reliability
• Understanding of software and hardware design
• ISO, FDA training and experience.
• Hands-on experience with typical electronics laboratory test equipment
• Effective communication and documentation skills
• A self-motivated and results-oriented individual


Qualifications:

• Programming (Visual Basic, C/C++, scripting)
• Experience with Perforce or other configuration management systems
• Background in diagnostic or therapeutic ultrasound


This position requires a BS degree in computer science or engineering, or equivalent and 5 years of test experience in a research and development environment.
