Senior Tax Analyst - (Job Number: 0809218) DescriptionEthicon Endo-Surgery, Inc., a member of Johnson && Johnson's Family of Companies, is recruiting for a Senior Tax Analyst, located in Cincinnati, Ohio. Ethicon Endo-Surgery, Inc. (EES) develops and markets advanced medical devices for minimally invasive and open surgical procedures. The company focuses on procedure-enabling devices for the interventional diagnosis and treatment of conditions in general and bariatric surgery, as well as gastrointestinal health, gynecology and surgical oncology. The Senior Tax Analyst will prepare federal, state, and local income tax returns including sales and use, property, and miscellaneous other returns. This position is also responsible for the following: financial tax reporting for actual and forecast periods in accordance with FAS109 and FIN48; perform tax research, analysis and planning to minimize tax liability as well as identifying tax savings opportunities; and provide support for all internal and external audits and various special projects that may arise. Minimum of a Bachelors Degree is required with a major in accounting preferred. Masters in Tax, CMA, or CPA certification is preferred. A minimum of 3 years experience preparing corporate income tax returns is required. Experience with FAS109 is preferred. Experience with SOX Tax requirements is preferred. Experience with CorpTax software is a plus. Exposure to ERP General Ledgers such as JD Edwards or SAP is a plus. A firm understanding of financial accounting practices is required. Must be proficient in Excel and other MS Office tools. Communication, time management and prioritization skills are required. Minimum of 10% domestic travel is required. Apply Now
