Job Description Senior Systems Engineer Position Summary:Designing, administering, and maintaining the enterprise wide Directory Services and Messaging systems. The incumbent will have 5+ years experience installing, providing administrative support, maintaining, troubleshooting and providing analysis for: Microsoft  Active Directory, DNS, WINS, DHCP and Exchange 2003/2007.Essential Functions:-Designing, maintaining, and administering a dynamic, scalable, enterprise wide Microsoft Directory Service and Exchange messaging system -Strong Active Directory and Exchange Migration Experience -Designing, maintaining, and administering enterprise wide virus protection and spam filtering software -Working as principle technical contact for all Active Directory/Email and network  related vendors -Recommending Active Directory, DNS and messaging technology upgrades that will enhance performance and meet business needs -Developing, maintaining, and enforcing enterprise Active Directory and Email  policies -Maintaining and administering all remote and wireless access to the exchange environment (OWA, Blackberry, etc.) -Responsible for Active Directory and Exchange related documentation. (Diagrams,  Maps etc.)Qualifications:-Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field -5+ years experience with Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000 and 2003,  Messaging, Windows & Exchange 2003 Server (Exchange 2007 experience preferred) -MCSE and A+ certifications a plus -SharePoint Portal, MS Single Copy Clustering & MS Cluster Continuous Replication (CCS) a plus -Proven knowledge of disaster recovery (DR) and Backup requirements for large scale messaging environments -Proven track record working with Exchange Bridgeheads, backend servers, Exchange Front-end/OWA and CAS serversNon-negotiable criteria:-Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field -5+years experience installing, providing administrative support, maintaining, troubleshooting and providing analysis for: Microsoft Exchange 5.5 2000 and 2003 (Exchange  2007 experience preferred), Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, WINS and DHCP -Proven knowledge of disaster recovery (DR) and Backup requirements for large scale messaging environments Education: BachelorsJob Level: Experienced
