Position Description:
Job Summary:As a Senior Scientist you will be a key contributor to integrated and multidisciplinary development teams. You will be developing new, and improving existing technology platforms based on our proprietary BeadArray™ technology.Job duties include but are not limited to:• Project Management of small cross-functional teams to achieve their goals within defined timeframes and resources• Research and develop new materials • Research and Develop new array products based on our proprietary BeadArray™ Technology• Develop chemical processes related to BeadArray™ manufacturing and production• Develop, integrate and test designed systems• Present updates, write reports and conduct technical meetings to Senior ManagementQualificationsEducation and Experience:• The ideal candidate with have a PhD in Organic Synthetic Chemistry with extensive experience in analytical chemistry.• A sound foundation in organic synthesis, fluorescence detection, biomolecule immobilization and conjugation, and surface chemistry• Demonstrated knowledge of optical systems and molecular biology assay development• Superb data analysis skills • Excellent communication skills• Demonstrated leadership ability• A desire to be part of face paced dynamic development environment
