Senior Research Associate Cell Biology - Oncology

We are looking for a Research Associate to join Merrimack’s innovative oncology therapeutic group, an interdisciplinary team merging the talents of experimental and computational scientists. The group is focused on developing novel oncology therapeutics by applying principles of mathematical modeling, systems biology, and protein engineering to rigorous biological data. You will apply your cell biology expertise to the design, execution, and analysis of quantitative experiments that inform the identification and characterization of our therapeutic leads.

Job Requirements:


Candidates should have a BS or MS in a biological discipline with 4+ years industry experience. Essential skills include mammalian cell culture and the application of antibody-based methods for quantitative protein analysis (such as Western blotting, ELISAs, FACS, and/or other methods). Strong candidates will demonstrate proficiency with experimental design, assay development, and statistical/computational analysis of data. Also desired is familiarity with basic molecular biology techniques such as vector creation and cell transfection. We value strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to work within a fast-moving team, enthusiasm for science, and a flexible, entrepreneurial spirit.Job Code : 74 Division/Department : Merrimack Travel Required : None
