ABOUT USMRINetworkâ„¢ (Management Recruiters International) is the world's largest executive search and recruitment organization with a global network of more than 1,100 offices and 4,500 recruiting professionals.  Founded in 1966 and consisting of five offices across New England, The Boston Group is MRI’s oldest, largest, and most highly acclaimed member. COMPANY INFORMATION the Client is a life sciences driven company and leading manufacturer of active ingredients, intermediates, APIs and biologicals based on exclusive chemical synthesis and biotechnology.  With more than 40 locations around the world, they offer products and services that span the product development process – from research through final product manufacture.  The Client has identified the need for a SENIOR R&D ASSOCIATE, FERMENTATION to assist in the development of scalable processes to improve product yields and reduce costs of manufacturing. JOB DESCRIPTION The SENIOR R&D ASSOCIATE, FERMENTATION will: Collaborate with supervisor at the start and completion of experiments Provide input into the overall scope, design and implementation of experiments Initiate and develop work plans to ensure timely completion of experiments Execute fundamental and specialized lab techniques, interpret the data and plan subsequent experiments Collect, review, analyze and interpret data Maintain all notebooks and documentation of work Prepare oral and written reports for supervisor review Maintain familiarity with current methods and technologies through scientific literature Investigate and troubleshoot complex technical problems Participate in and support the work of project teamsQUALIFICATIONS The SENIOR R&D ASSOCIATE, FERMENTATION will have: BS in Life Science 6 years of industry experience or a combination of education and experience Mastery of fundamental lab methodologies, awareness of new methodologies and the ability to introduce them Proficiency in MS Office Exceptional written and oral communication skills Ability to work well within project teams Ability to solve complex technical problems based on experience, analysis and judgmentKey words:  BS Life Science, problem solving, therapeutic products, vaccines, lab methodologies, project team Qualified candidates send a “wordâ€� version of your resume to:  jkroehler@mri-boston.com .....  Due to the large volume of resumes received only candidates with specific qualifications requested by our client will be contacted.
