Senior Project Manager

Accountabilities have an immediate opening for a Senior Project Manager to support pharmaceutical industry in New York City.

 

Position Summary

The Senior Manager will manage and execute the technology vendor management strategy in a fast-paced environment, providing subject matter expertise to the U.S. Pharmaceutical business groups through the vendor selection, engagement and evaluation process.  The qualified candidate will utilize an array of skill sets while working within a cross-matrix team (comprised of functional, technical, legal, finance, and the Vendor Management Office) to provide leadership in the development and implementation of vendor lifecycle processes.

 

Primary Responsibilities

· Manage the full life cycle of contracts

· Lead vendor negotiations – Master Service Agreements & Statements of Work

· Manage risk and compliance throughout U.S. Pharmaceutical business groups

· Lead Managed Service Provider Programs while identifying opportunities for Program Enhancement

· Implement new Vendor Management processes and change management

· Ensure business groups  understand  and are compliant with vendor related corporate policies and procedures

· Manage monthly/quarterly reporting process to business groups ; conduct financial analysis and review of strategic vendors to identify opportunities for greater leverage

· Review of Statements of Work (SOWs) and Request for Proposal (RFPs)

 

Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law or related field

· MBA or Master’s Degree in a related field preferred and/or PMP Certification

· Minimum 7+ years experience (vendor management, strategic sourcing, legal, consulting or other applicable discipline)

· Deep understanding of the contract life cycle required

· Successful track record in managing complex projects
