Senior Project Leader - Industrial Design and Product Innovation

Invetech is a leading product development company with over 30 years experience in providing innovative design and engineering services that have delivered over $1 billion of value to our clients. We are in an exciting period of growth, with a new office in the San Diego area and an opportunity for a Business Development Manager with an Industrial Design background to join the team. As an integral part of the Product Innovation Group you will take a lead role in identifying, selling and operating product development projects and establishing the Invetech Industrial Design group in San Diego.

This position has direct responsibility for sales prospection, conversion and leading projects in the San Diego office as well as supporting the broader Industrial Design and Product Innovation offering. You will be required to actively participate in the development of strategy and provide senior level representation for Invetech with prospective and existing clients. This will include writing proposals, assisting in contract negotiations, developing and reviewing concepts and leading projects, whilst always maintaining and managing client relationships.

To be successful in this role you will have relevant qualifications in Industrial Design or Engineering and at least 10 years industry experience. You will have a proven track record in the identification and sale of new product development projects. You will have experience in the management and leadership of development programs including work planning, budget and risk management. As a self-motivated, results driven and energetic individual, you will be able to build executive level relationships and position Invetech as an innovative engineering and design company and trusted advisors.
