Senior Product Manager/Associate Director - Oncology: My client is one of the world's fastest growing multi-billion pharmaceutical companies, and is located outside of Philadelphia. The company specializes in drugs to treat and manage neurological diseases, sleep disorders, cancer and pain. I am currently seeking a Senior Product Manager to join their Oncology Business Unit as they continue to expand. The successful candidate will have recent significant oncology experience (not supportive care), as well as in-line marketing experience. You will also need launch experience, whether new launch, new indication, new formulation or new call audience. TITLE: Senior Product Manager/Associate Director - Oncology REPORTS TO: Product Director SALARY: Up to $115,000 - $160,000 base, plus 15% target bonus RELO: Yes RESPONSIBILITIES: Reporting to the Product Director, Oncology this position is responsible for the effective marketing of assigned oncology product in the US by developing, supervising, and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies and tactics to exceed sales and profit targets. Responsibilities Responsibilities include but are not limited to: · Development and implementation of brand strategy and tactics, including the Integrated Business Plan and associated strategies and tactics· Plans, develops, implements, and champions key tactical programs· Measures performance and recommends adjustments to strategies and tactics· Manages brand budget·Responsible for demand forecasting· Develops partnerships with KOLs, societies, organizations· Key partner in strategy development and coordinated tactical execution with Clinical Development and Medical & Scientific Affairs groups· Coaches junior team members· May be called on to supervise, motivate, and develop Associate Product Manager or Product Manager REQUIREMENTS: BA or BS required, MBA preferred Oncology experience required (not supportive care oncology) 5 years pharmaceutical experience required 3+ years In-line pharmaceutical marketing experience required New Products Marketing, Global/Strategic Marketing, or Business Development experience preferred Sales, Sales Management, Finance, Market Research and People Management experience preferred Recognized leader in sales and marketing Tactical Execution Effective in Qualitative and Quantitative Business Analysis, Financial Management, Customer & Marketplace Knowledge, Legal & Regulatory Analysis, Health Economics, and Medical & Scientific Affairs Developing capabilities for long term commercial strategy including Long Range Planning, Portfolio Planning, Life Cycle Management, and Licensing & Acquisitions Demonstrated ability to influence and interact with sales force, key internal partners, KOLs, and key customers Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and relationships Entrepreneurial spirit Strong communication and presentation skills Ability to influence Desire to roll up sleeves and get your hands dirty - desire to make a difference!
