Senior Process Safety Engineer
Eichleay Engineers Inc. is a 5th generation family owned, multi-discipline firm offering a broad range of engineering, procurement, project management, and client staff augmentation services to the petroleum refining, chemical, life science, high technology, and manufacturing industries.
We are currently seeking a Senior Process Safety Engineer to work in the Thousand Oaks, CA area. The Senior Process Safety Engineer will be responsible for providing process safety support to operations groups engaged in pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical scale-up and clinical manufacturing activities. Other areas of responsibilities include: process safety risk assessments, chemical hazard assessments, small molecule scale-up client support, support of NPI's, pressure safety, explosive atmosphere risk assessment, and more.
The ideal candidate will have operational experience in the areas of GMP small molecule and biopharma manufacturing, and experience with biosafety and industrial ergonomic assessments. Ten years of applicable experience in desired. A BS in chemical engineering or chemistry is a plus!
