Senior Principle Investigator
The Sr. Principle Investigator will lead a team developing state-of-art applications involving BioMEMS in the areas of sensors, microfluidics, lab on a chip, drug delivery, tissue engineering and medical devices. This position will entail extensive design, analysis and laboratory/fabrication tasks related to several aspects of the projects including developing processes for fabricating micro-devices and methods for testing the devices, conducting testing of devices in a chemical and biological laboratory, and developing strategies for demonstrating device performance in a variety of applications areas.Proposal writing and project management are key responsibilities.
Qualifications:
An PhD in Biology, Chemistry, Physics or Engineering is required with at at least five years experience in MEMS, microfluidics or nanofabrication . Working knowledge of laboratory methods and skills in these fields is necessary. Intellectual curiosity in biology and medicine, self starter, attention to detail and a team-oriented work approach are essential.
