Senior Method Development and Validation Chemist

Lancaster Laboratories, a nationally recognized analytical laboratory, is searching for a Senior Method Development and Validation Chemist.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following: Perform a large variety of analytical tasks associated with method development and validation for the analysis of pharmaceutical drug products, raw materials and/or medical devices; ability to perform different types of techniques used including HPLC, GC, UV, dissolution, and mass spectral analyses; work independently and educate self in new instrumentation through manuals and related literature; document work clearly and perform tests accurately in accordance with cGMP requirements.
The ideal candidate would possess the ability to learn new methods and techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, transcribe data, write reports, act with a positive attitude toward quality control and safety procedures, work in an organized manner, and follow instructions and comply with company policies.
BS/BA in chemistry, biology, related science degree, or relevant experience preferred, along with at least three years related experience.
Position schedule is Monday through Friday, Noon –9:00 p.m., plus additional hours as workload requires.
