Job Description 

Our client is seeking to hire several Systems Engineers with experience bringing multiple platforms, systems and applications together for use of multiple organizations.  This position is located in the Boston area with potential of moving to Charlotte, NC if desired.  This is a newly well funded initiative and we are seeking to hire highly skilled technology engineers.  This is a long term contract position with the potential of becoming permanent.

 

Title:  SENIOR INTEGRATION ENGINEER The Senior Integration Developer is a seasoned systems engineer, primarily responsible for developing integration solutions, troubleshooting issues and assisting with code reviews to ensure the optimal solution has been delivered.  Will be working with an Integration Competency Center (ICC) team to understand integration requirements and participate in the design, development and support of enterprise integrations.  This individual will leverage their knowledge of industry best practices and KP infrastructure to continually improve internal development procedures and standards. As needed, this individual may assist other developers with development challenges and be called upon to assist with critical troubleshooting and bug resolution. When needed, this person may provide input to solution designs and communicate technical details to business partners. Must be able to apply industry best practices regarding Service Oriented Architectures and system modeling in order to satisfy business and technical requirements by developing a reusable, manageable, and cost-effective integration framework.Responsibilities:

·         Perform hands on development of integration solutions on a variety of platforms.

·         Research and resolve technical issues and recommend appropriate interventions/modifications as needed.

·         Ensure work processes and products meet KP IT standards.

·         Conduct root cause analysis to prevent reoccurrence of issues.

·         Recommend integration best practices, such as Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and system modeling.

·         Gather enterprise integration and external Partner system-wide requirements. These include but are not limited to: network architecture, internal and external security requirements, ERP/EAI/B2B requirements, DB requirements and resource requirements.

·         Can manage development efforts against Service Level Agreements.

Requirements:

·         College Degree required in computer science, math or engineering. Advance Degree preferred.

·         Strong development and technology background with a minimum of 5 years experience in application development/enterprise integration roles in large scale, multi-technology environment.

·         Demonstrates technical depth and breadth across a number of technologies to include working with middleware, C++. Java, Unix scripting, XML and SOA.

·         Must have experience working with multiple databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, Informatica and multiple operating systems.

·         Must have experience with algorithms, core system programming, and programming hardware devices.

·         Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills.

·         Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, and the proven ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment.
