The Senior Global Compliance Specialist coordinates and executes the Vision Care external audit process, which includes assessments of suppliers and external manufacturers as well as global internal compliance audits. Assess conformance with Vision Care, federal and international regulations, policies, procedures and standards, and provides dispositions for the addition of suppliers and external manufacturers to the approved list. Provides regulatory compliance guidance with regard to some, if not all, of the following areas: medical devices, API manufacturing, aseptic processing, combination products and solutions. Adheres to environmental policy and procedures and supports department environmental objectives. Develops general procedures for suppliers and external contract manufacturers (EM's). Review and approves operation procedures related to suppliers. Ensures adherence to Supplier and EM Compliance Program. Develops and expands the desktop supplier audit program. Performs other tasks as assigned by management. A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in a related scientific or business discipline is required; a Master's Degree is preferred. A minimum of 7-years supplier/vendor compliance experience within the pharmaceutical, medical device or aseptic manufacturing industries is required. Must have the ability to work autonomously and have strong collaborative and business relationship management skills. Prior vision care experience would be an asset. Prior international experience would also be an asset. Must be able to travel globally up to 50%. Prior leadership/supervisory experience would be an asset. Must have prior experience in leading audits. Any training and/or certifications from ASQ or in Process Excellence would be an asset. Apply Now
