Senior Electrical Engineer

Evergreen Engineering is currently seeking a full-time Senior Electrical Engineer with capabilities in the Power

and I&C disciplines to join our highly motivated team of professionals.

Minimum Qualifications:

General

- Design from concept programming through execution

- Experience in industrial and advanced tech facilities

- At least seven (7) years experience

- Familiarity with applicable codes & standards

- Experience with industry specific standards

- System start-up, commissioning, and integration planning

- Strong communication and presentation skills

- Team player and self-motivated

- Some travel may be required

 

Power

-Experience with isolated primary (Medium voltage) normal power distribution systems, primary and

secondary (Low voltage) normal power distribution systems, emergency power distribution systems,

uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) and associated power distribution systems with emphasis on facility

redundancy and reliability.

- Extensive experience with assuring code compliant design.

- Experience with auxiliary systems including grounding, lightning protection, fire alarm, early warning.

smoke detection, gas monitoring, leak detection, security and telecommunications systems.

 

I&C

General knowledge of monitoring and control of industrial systems including:

- Bulk Chemical Delivery Systems

- Toxic Gas Monitoring Systems (TGMS)

- HVAC Systems

- Particle Monitoring and Ionization Systems

- Programmable Logic Control Systems (PLC)

- Distributed Control Systems (DCS)

- Power monitoring systems

- Central Plant systems

 

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university.

Licensed professional engineer (PE) in New York, preferred but not required.
