Senior Director, Clinical Project Management / Oncology

We are seeking an enthusiastic Senior Director for our Clinical Project Management Oncology unit to join our team! The Senior Director will supervise and manage large global projects for Phase II and Phase III Oncology clinical trials. The incumbent should be able to manage large full service projects from a resourcing, senior project oversight and proposal development perspective. Some specific responsibilities may include relationship management of assigned clients, recommend course of action regarding client management issues and implementation plan, provide financial review and oversight for clients to meet company realization targets and ensuring quality of deliverables. The Senior Director will also provide consultation regarding the drug development process and strategy and may serve as team member on operation or steering committees with strategic partners and will also have line management responsibilities.- BS/BA Degree in a life sciences or related field - 15 years of clinical research experience - 7 years of project management experience - Professional Project Management Accreditation is a plus - Travel will be required for this position (around 25% and some global travel, though likely infrequent, may be required) - Demonstrated ability to deliver results to the appropriate quality and timeline metrics - Strong influencing and negotiation skills - Good team leadership skills - Excellent customer service skills - Oncology clinical trial project management expertise - Combined CRO and Pharma background preferred
