Through our family of companies, we contribute outstanding clinical insight with consumer-friendly services and advanced technology to help people achieve optimal health.i3 Pharma Informatics Senior Consultant Basking Ridge, NJ or Home Based (depends on experience)   i3 Pharma Informatics is the newest addition to the i3 business and is focused on leveraging existing and future data assets and software products to meet Pharmaceutical, Biotechonology and Medical Device Manufacturers information needs on market dynamics and competitive activities.  Data Assets will include i3’s new NHI database, a comprehensive, de-identified patient longitudinal dataset with Pharmacy Claims, Medical Claims (including Hospital) and Lab Results.  Software products include i3 InVision Data Mart tools, i3 InVison for Managed Markets, i3 Aperio and i3 CRAFT.  www.i3global.com     Responsibilities Include:Lead individual project consulting engagements in a developing sales and market research consulting business leveraging i3’s and other data assets Motivate, manage and train market research consulting professionals to support consulting activities Develop and manage processes to effectively execute consulting engagements Monitor project engagements to identify efficiencies Provide accurate and timely reports on the status of consulting projects Ability to interpret results of data analyses to ensure validity of approach and conclusions and present findings to sales, marketing and market research professionals Assist in the development of case studies and business proposals to support business needs Interact with other departments, such as sales and client services, to ensure a high level of client satisfaction through successful execution of projects Work closely with methodology experts to support improvements and new product offerings targeted at the sales, marketing and market research community needs Ideal candidate should have a mix of vendor and client experience in marketing, market research and sales operations.Minimum of 6 years combined consulting experience in the pharmaceutical / biotechnology industry Proven track record of managing consulting engagements Excellent planning, analytical, writing, presentation and organizational skills Demonstrated ability to achieve results Client experience in management science or market research areas a plus Travel required – 25- 35% UnitedHealth Group offers a full range of comprehensive benefits to full-time and part-time employees, including medical, dental and vision, as well as a matching 401k and an employee stock purchase plan.   Diversity creates a healthier atmosphere: equal opportunity employer M/F/D/V.   UnitedHealth Group is a drug-free workplace.  Candidates are required to pass a drug test before beginning employment.    Keywords: claims data, analyst, data analyst, data analysis, data manipulation, sql, oracle, Sybase, database, ba, business analyst, business analysis
