Talecris Biotherapeutics has the following opportunity at our RTP, NC facility: SENIOR CLINICAL DATA MANAGERClinical Operations, Medical Affairs Dept. Providing excellent data management support for clinical trials, you'll design and review case report forms, write/review data management plans, develop and streamline standard data management procedures, maintain medical coding dictionaries/glossaries, coordinate medical coding and serious adverse event reconciliation, develop/maintain edit checks, and ensure the quality of all forms, database structures, plans, specifications, and guidelines.  In addition to a bachelor's degree and at least 6 years' relevant work experience in a clinical research organization, our ideal candidate has:"data management expertise"a solid understanding of the clinical drug development process"knowledge of databases and the structure of clinical data"familiarity with MedDRA and WHO-DD, as well as the medical coding process"solid knowledge of MS Office and SAS programming"strong problem-solving, communication and organizational skills "the ability to develop data management SOPs and documents, provide training, multitask, and prioritize work Interested candidates should go to www.talecris.com and apply to position 2059.
