SENIOR CLINICAL DATA COORDINATOR

MedFocus offers clinical research contract outsourcing and staffing specifically to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries.  We specialize in the nationwide recruitment of clinical trials personnel.

 

Our client has committed themselves to high standards of integrity in contributing to the best interests of patients, the medical profession, their employees and communities and is looking for a Senior Clinical Data Coordinator in South San Francisco, CA.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Maintain a project-level perspective on data management issues, activities and deliverables

- Manage projects resourced externally via contract research organizations or corporate partners

- Develop Data Quality (DQ) Plans (specification of the data quality checks that will be performed by Clinical Data Management)

- Perform discrepancy management (timely review and resolution of all relevant discrepancies, close interaction with project clinical research associates)

- Develop CRFs by interacting with other functional area representatives and managing the physical development of CRFs through Forms Design

- Develop Data Management Plans (database specifications)

- Monitor CRF receipt and data entry progress

- Coordinate data entry, answering questions from data entry operators

- Perform database updates as necessary

- Interact proactively with Clinical Data Management specialty groups to ensure that project objectives are understood and met

- Develop and execute database queries suitable for cross-project standardization using relational database tools

- Perform related tasks as needed 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Excellent multi-tasking skills

- Strong problem solving skills

- Oracle Clinical experience is required, EDC is a plus

- Excellent communication skills 

 

EDUCATION:

- BA degree, 3-4 years experience as a Clinical Data Coordinator at a CRO or Pharma/Biotech company is required
