Senior Chemist

Lancaster Laboratories is looking for a Senior Chemist in the Indianapolis area to join our Professional Scientific Staffing Group to provide GMP analytical testing and services directly to our client.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: perform analytical testing and method development in a GMP environment using instrumentation, including but not limited to HPLC, GC, KF, and Dissolution; lead projects/test areas; write validation protocols, procedures and reports; initiate investigations; review documentation; recommend technical improvements and communicate with clients.
The ideal candidate would possess strong laboratory and organizational skills, excellent communication (oral and written), attention to detail, flexibility and the ability to work as part of a team. In addition, the ability to learn new methods and techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions and comply with company policies are essential.
Minimum of B.S./B.A. in chemistry, biology or other related science and at least six years of relevant laboratory experience preferably in a GMP environment preferred.
