Senior Administrative Assistant

The Sr. Administrative Assistant will provide advanced secretarial skills in the preparation and typing of a variety of materials. The candidate will perform moderately complex, non-standard typing or word processing; prepare agendas, PowerPoint presentations and other materials as needed for meetings or projects; establish and maintain an organized filing system for the department; schedule meetings, organize travel, maintain calendars, prepare departmental expense reports and handle e-mail; and open, date stamp and distribute departmental mail and coordinate all outgoing shipments. Qualifications: The successful candidate will possess advanced secretarial skills, excellent organizational skills and outstanding communication skills. Candidates must also have excellent interpersonal skills and be a proactive thinker. Candidates should also have strong computer skills especially with the Microsoft Office Suite. A minimum of an Associate’s Degree in a related field and a minimum of one year of related experience is required.
