Security Contract Manager

The Security Contract Manager is responsible for the successful delivery of security services to IDEXX. Responsibilities include managing all aspects of contract fulfillment, monitoring and measuring the fulfillment process, and constantly improving it. Will structure, staff and supervise a team that manages and directs contract implementation across multiple departments, sets and analyzes performance against goals, and controls and resolves problems as necessary across departments and with customers.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities include: recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and training security employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving issues. Define, implement, and monitor conformance to project management guidelines and processes. Manage the overall delivery schedule across all security contracts, ensuring timely communication with customers and the delivery of products and services in accordance with the agreed to schedules. Measure and continuously improve the contract fulfillment process. Coordinate contract delivery functions and resources across all departments that participate in contract fulfillment. Work with other departments within organization to evaluate operations? impact on the development and production of new products. Assist in ensuring that quality standards and procedures are being maintained and updated within the department. Develop, maintain and affect operating metrics to define the level of performance of the implementation team. Assist in the supervision of start up programs and/or new operational processes within operations, which includes creation of, needed documentation, and work instructions. Assist in carrying out of employee relation programs (Required IDEXX training programs, individual department training and process and procedure training). Assist in and create, improve and facilitate training programs for all operational personnel and any temporary workforce. Perform routine audits Perform job-related duties as assigned. Requirements:

EDUCATION: BS or BA degree or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE: 4 - 7 years of experience in a corporate environment, administrating third party security contracts

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Works on complex problems of diverse scope where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple and various factors Able to read, develop and analyze historical data, reports, and budget sheets to support business initiatives Applies judgment within discipline, broadly defined practice and policies in selecting appropriate methods and techniques for obtaining results and appropriate application to material and process control. Project management skills with emphasis on deliverables related to contract administration. Superior interpersonal skills, with experience with supervising and administrating complex contractual obligations with multiple deliverables, milestones and resource allocation. Goal oriented and highly motivated to participate in manufacturing discipline. Good verbal and written communication skills. Experience in computer hardware and/or implementation of process control systems. Active in continuous improvement planning, administrating cross-functional teams to affect one or many quality objectives.
