R&D Systems is a specialty manufacturer of biological products.  We are located in NE Minneapolis, just minutes away from downtown and the University of Minnesota campus.  More company information can be found on our website, at www.RnDSystems.com.  We are seeking a motivated Scientist to join our Protein Development Team.

 

THE POSITION

 

This position will develop protein refolding and purification procedures with small-scale for active cytokines and growth factors to make products.  Other duties include optimizing conditions for protein processing, purification and formulation, identifying and implementing new technology to improve quantity and quality of proteins purified and initiating new projects.

 

WHO YOU ARE

 

We are looking for candidates with a PhD in Biochemistry or related field with a minimum of 0 to 5 years related experience.  The preferred candidate will have a strong background in protein chemistry, protein purification, refolding and experience with relevant instrumentation.
