We have an immediate opening for a Scientist in our Bioassay Department, which ensures quality of our cytokine and antibody products.
THE POSITION
We have an immediate opening for a motivated Scientist to join our Bioassay Team. This position will develop bioassays for cytokines and related molecules, enhance existing assays, and participate in research projects. Work with research associates on assay development; provide advice and discuss progress of the projects with supervisors and with other department members. Write and review SOPs, product data sheets, and scientific articles for R&D System’s literature and scientific meetings. Communicate and collaborate with other groups and departments to facilitate work progress. This position will also act as a resource to help the other routine bioassay groups as needed.
WHO YOU ARE
Successful applicants must have a PhD degree in biology, cell biology, pharmacology, endocrinology, immunology, or neuroscience with 0 to 5 years’ experience in a related field. Must have excellent laboratory, communication and problem solving skills. This position also requires prolonged standing, lifting up to 40 lbs and viewing a PC.
