Sample Accountability Specialist - Account Manager for Pharmaceutical Marketing

J. Knipper and Company, the healthcare industry's preferred partner for marketing solutions, is seeking a Sample Accountability Specialist.  In this role, you will be responsible for administering multiple compliance accounts for sales field sample activities in a pharmaceutical marketing environment, while keeping projects involving prescription products in total compliance with the Prescription Drug and Marketing Act (PDMA).

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Acts as a liaison between the customer and internal departments and transforms customer’s business needs into functional and operational instructions.

· Ensures the accuracy of regulatory reports, develops program specific business rules and updates compliance manuals.

· Performs monthly audits, develops analytical tools and monitors signature verification programs.

· Develop metrics for trending purposes to detect possible drug diversion and significant losses of drug samples.

· Validates, monitors, and analyzes sales representative’s documentation and reported activities to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.

· Daily interaction with pharmaceutical Sales Representatives, District Managers, and Regulatory personnel.

· Monitors sampling activities, tracks shipments, and performs monthly product reconciliation while advising sales representatives of PDMA regulations.

· Issues program instructions to external PDMA auditors.

· Trains internal staff on the business rules.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

 

Education/Training:Bachelors Degree, preferably in Accounting or Statistics. 

Related Experience: One – two years Sample Accountability or inventory auditing experience a plus.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:Must demonstrate exceptional communication and writing skills Ability to create flow chart diagrams.Proficient in Microsoft Office.Previous customer service or auditing experience preferred.  Knowledge of PDMA regulations and a working knowledge of Sales Force Automation systems a plus.
