Sales Support Specialist - Riverview, FL

We are the North American division of world-renown Metrohm AG (Herisau, Switzerland), an industry leader in laboratory instruments and accessories for analytical testing/research. We are in the process of uniting our Westbury, NY and Houston, TX offices under one brand-new facility in Riverview, Florida, and we are looking for three (3) Sales Support Specialists to join our Customer Relations Team. It’s your chance to be a part of a dynamic team and make an immediate impact!

 

As a Sales Support Specialist, you will:

 

· Provide telephone support to customers, dealers, and field representatives

· Coordinate all special orders for sales representatives and sales directors.

· Assist customers with product requests, order entry and other customer account activity.

· Provide support to field personnel to assist in coordination of problem solving, open orders and back orders.

· Provide assistance in spare parts order entry and follow up to specific customer demands.  This includes providing back-up documentation and computer updates.

· Coordinate, evaluate and manage the return of defective product.

· Responsible for backorder reports, working closely with inventory control to assure timely customer delivery.

· And more, as our new facility takes root and grows.

 

Qualified candidates will possess:

 A Bachelors or Associates Degree in Chemistry (or related discipline) from an accredited college or university and one to two years of related experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.Aptitude for math and problem-solving/trouble-shooting is a must!Exceptional written and oral communication skills.Ability to handle difficult customers.Strong computer skills, including MS Excel and Word.
