Sales Representative - Animal Nutrition Ingredients

Corn Products International, a $3.4 billion manufacturer and supplier of refined agriculturally derived ingredients to more than 60 industries, including food, feed, soft drink, brewing, pharmaceutical, corrugating, paper and textiles, is currently seeking an experienced sales professional to support our GTC Nutrition affiliate in Golden, CO. 

 

This position directs the new customer sales cycle in the animal nutrition (commercial and companion) market, including identification of target customers and account planning, initial customer introductions and presentations, leveraging company resources (technical, marketing, regulatory, etc.) to facilitate customer projects, negotiating and finalizing customer contracts, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the process.

The successful candidate MUST have experience with the following:A minimum of three years sales and 5+ total years industry experience in animal nutrition, pet food or specialty ingredientsAt least 3 years of experience calling on major pet food and/or commercial animal feed companies Experience working with multiple contacts (marketing, R&D and purchasing) and managing an extended sales projectAlso: A Bachelor’s degree required, graduate degree is preferred – animal science/nutrition, agricultural sciences, business, marketing or related field
