Among these are products for reconstructing damaged or diseased joints; repairing and reconstructing traumatic skeletal injuries; facilitating the treatment of spinal disorders and deformity; surgical treatment of neurological and central nervous system disorders, and sports medicine devices for the treatment of soft tissue injuries. DePuy has three main locations: Warsaw IN, Raynham Ma and Leeds, UK. DePuy is one of the largest businesses within Johnson && Johnson. Codman seeks an experienced portal administrator to support internal collaboration and Web content activities in a Documentum/Internet-In-A-Box (IIAB) environment. The Portal Administrator will report to the Manager, Sales Training with direct contact with the Director, Sales Training. Duties include, but are not limited to the following: Convert content from editable formats such as Microsoft Word and PowerPoint into a "read only" PDF electronic format. Convert content from hardcopy into a "read-only" PDF electronic format. Document content publishing and maintenance procedures to help ensure consistent, effective and appropriate use of the portal environment. Assigned predetermined access control to content, pages and portlets (pluggable user interface components) based on user roles and security levels. Retrieve IFU's from Agile in PDF format and post on the HUB Sales Portal. Scan documents and brochures for posting on HUB Sales Portal. Responsible for overseeing the process around content creation, review and approval of web content that is published to Codman's HUB Sales Portal web application. Responsibilities include ensuring accuracy, appropriateness and timeliness of the materials as well as assisting with the on-going development of the new content. Work closely with authors through the content management process, including: monitoring and identifying new information, supporting and/or authoring modules, providing a quality assurance review and reviewing and incorporating recommended changes and posting updates to the web application. Provide laptop support to on-the-road Sales Managers and Representatives and Distributors regarding connectivity, access and general system-related issues relative to the HUB. Verify that the text flows clearly and all inconsistencies are remedied. Verify that all references are present and meet specific requirements and guidelines; conduct first level editing, ensure accuracy of spelling, grammar and syntax usage; check all facts, tables, figures and legends against source documents. Check content to ensure that all reviewer and author comments have been incorporated; review appropriate selection of metadata and provide feedback and/or assist authors with metadata assignment to ensure proper functionality of content in web application. Provide statistical data to Senior Management regarding website traffic on a monthly basis. Responsible for use and distribution of multiple reports utilizing predetermined queries. Editing of HTML Code (Dreamweaver and JAVA) to complement the use of the portal. The candidate for this job should have worked on an IT system implementation team or a marketing and sales staff and should have strong desktop computer application and Web browser skills in a Microsoft Windows environment. Outstanding communication and documentation skills are necessary as well as a solid knowledge of workplace portal environments and their integration to other Web sites and desktop applications. High School Diploma with a minimum of 5+ years of business experience; 3 of which is in any of the following areas: Web administration, content management or help desk support. Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred. Experience using and administering a collaborative portal and content management environment such as BEA Weblogic, IBM WebSphere, Documentum, SAP NetWeaver, or Microsoft SharePoint is required. Excellent PC skills including MS Windows 2000, MS Office 2000 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required. Experience utilizing MS Outlook; Visio and Project, Dreamweaver or similar web development application is preferred. Must be capable of working independently and responding efficiently and effectively. Candidate must be well organized with a strong attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the proven ability to handle multiple tasks is required.
