SYNTHETIC CHEMIST
·Responsible for the design, synthesis, purification and isolation of potential drug candidates using traditional synthetic chemistry approaches and/or parallel chemistry techniques.· Develop new synthetic routes and techniques to prepare novel chemical matters and solve challenging technical and scientific problems involved in the small and large-scale syntheses of novel compounds. ·Establish the synthetic strategy for the team, deliver analogs for the program, and discover potential important medicines. REQUIREMENTS:· PhD or equivalent work experience in Synthetic Organic Chemistry with a significant emphasis on organic synthesis research (either total synthesis and / or synthetic method development) is required. · Excellent track record of scientific achievement as demonstrated by publication and scientific· presentation record in addition to being an independent researcher with cutting-edge knowledge of modern synthetic organic methodology. · Experience in conducting multi-step synthesis, the ability to use chromatographic techniques to isolate and purify compounds, and expertise in characterizing novel compounds is required. · Demonstrated ability to independently develop and direct research programs (including chemical route design and synthesis) and demonstrated evidence of creative problem solving required.
